And the fourth annual ComicDNA Man of the Year Award goes to… Clint Eastwood!
This year, Clint Eastwood starred in a good movie (Trouble with the Curve) and a very good Super Bowl commercial (Chrysler’s Halftime in America). However, his stunning performance at the Republican National Convention was by far his most significant accomplishment of the year.
When future generations look back on this era in human history, they’ll remember the invention of the internet, Clint Eastwood talking to an empty chair at the 2012 Republican National Convention, and nothing else. This moment changed politics and comedy forever, and revolutionized performance art in general.
This marks Mr Eastwood’s record-breaking third ComicDNA Man of the Year Award.
